It was a windy night for sure, didn't seem any worse than others I recall. Maybe it wasn't as bad here? It calmed down for awhile this morning, wind seems to be picking up again. They have dialed it back to a "Wind Advisory" from a "High Wind Warning"

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Jessica checked her iPad app for our weather station and the highest wind speed during the night was 27 at 3:30AM. It is not reaching that this morning at all so far.

This is interesting.... could be up to 36% probability of over 12 inches of snow in some parts of the Pines and 63% probability of 4 inches all over South Jersey next Friday.

Looks like this may not happen now....

Wow. Our steady winds we're stronger than that, without even mentioning the gust. This morning, it's still much breezier than normal, but is showing signs of decreasing.

The be fair, the unit outside is near a tree and I believe it somewhat blocks the flow of air to the weather station.
