Keep filling things up. I was down in cape may and the whole way down every wetland was bone dry unless it was a stream or lake. Still need like a 2-3feet of snow or a half dozen rain events like we had Sunday.
More is on the way....
Sunday: Rain, mainly after 1pm. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Sunday Night: Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Monday: Rain, mainly before 1pm. The rain could be heavy at times. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
Was remembering... we had a very wet period here in 2021 that lasted a little over a year, my own lowlands were completely flooded for quite a few months, then really muddy for several more, I stopped going down there at all. I mentioned this in a few threads at the time but IIRC, others said it was dry (or drier) up North. Since I moved here in 2011, there were two other times when the lowlands completely flooded, but each of those receded in just a few months. The 2021-2022 flooding was much more persistent.

- Widespread rain of at least 1.5 inches likely. Total rainfall
around 3 inches possible with potential for localized amounts
in excess of 3 inches.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.

The NWS has posted a briefing for the storm and will update it again this evening. Looks a lot like the last storm...
The way it was pounding down last night, I had a feeling we were getting a lot of rain. And we did!
I woke up around 4:00 because the wind and rain were so loud. Banned spammers for awhile at MacRumors, went back to sleep. 
Some flooding around here, just now I had to backup several hundred feet and turn around to avoid going through some deep water that was flowing fast across a small (paved) road. Went about a mile to the next road and it was also flooded by the same stream! Flowing fast but not as deep, so I chanced it.

Very happy with the outcome of this storm. Still would be good to see a few more, but some wetlands starting to fill up. Hopefully we finally get some snow at some point this season.

Really great to see. Im firmly convinced that if we didn’t start getting rains like this that we would start seeing population declines in reptile and amphibian populations at some point. Not trying to be an alarmist but this is relieving.
Jessica is saying there is a possibility of snow this coming weekend.
Interesting, the NWS forecast says rain is probable (70% Saturday night, 50% Sunday) with temperatures above freezing. It does call for snow in parts of PA and northern NJ however.
Some local, so called "meteorologist", are already doing the hyping, saying there's a potential of a foot of snow.
