This is fantastic news, keep filling up the wetlands. With that said exploring the pines on my electric bike or wrangler may be a bit restricted this year.

Water nice and high out there now, almost to 2010 levels. We might have to invest in a wetsuit to do some exploring

I remember 2010 and there was water flooded all along caranza road by the tracks. I had never it seen it like that before. I was down in cape may last week and it was the most flooded I’ve seen at a few spots in a very long time. Should be a good year for amphibian populations, turtles.

This is interesting, if I pick a spot around Quaker Bridge on the map, this is the forecast I get on the National Weather Service website. It shows potential for as much as four inches of rain.

Around the same spot in my app, I click the button with the sun icon and get this forecast. It also comes from the National Weather Service, I feed the coordinates to their API and this is what it sends back. But it predicts as much as five and half inches!

My mom's neighbor years ago went out in his relatives canoe and said the water was so high and fast he had no idea where the river was as they spent most of the time going through the cedar swamps.

I just opened the sluice gate to about 1/3 open on the lake at my sportsmen's club. During the last storm three or so weeks ago the water was cresting over the wings of the dam and getting up close to the top of our bulkhead. Looks like 4" on the way. That's what she said.
