Don't know how much rain we got overnight, but it appears to be a lot. Slept through it all, so guessing it was slow and steady? But all the puddles that have been bone dry for the past week or two are now re-filled. This is a big one in Peaslee that was dry yesterday. I think the middle is over a foot deep already (I always drive on the left side) and the rain has picked up again.

Thunder here now. Severe storms coming. Jessica's weather station is giving her alerts.

Yeah, storms moving through Burlington County now. Nice and sunny here right now, going to head out again for another walk before the stuff down in Baltimore makes it to me. :)

Have had 1.2 inches of rain today. It is really coming down now. It looks like nighttime outside. Her gauge says the rain started at 12:07 AM.

Since mid-May when I returned to NJ from an arid region, I have felt far less like I am visiting NJ, and far more like I somehow went to Florida.

I've been surprised about how low the humidity has been - until this weekend. Aside from that, I saw humidity readings between 30 to 50% each day last week. Along with a nice breeze, those days in the 90's were really quite pleasant around here. I remember it was only 34% the day before the storm, which seemed very unusual. How dry were you expecting it to be?

Well over 10" in many areas of SNJ.

I noticed that Cape May County was getting hit hard yesterday. But if you want to look at the weather down there, try KDOX radar in Dover. Cape May is on the fringe of the KDIX radar in your screenshot. Living where I do, I frequently compare those two stations.

This is the KDOX imagery. Still lots of rain, no doubt, but appears to be about 2" less than the KDIX readings.
