Eighteen years ago today. My folder says Haines Bog but I have no idea where I was.
Twelve years ago today In Somerdale, slightly out of the pines but in an area where patches do show up, this is an oxbow and a surprisingly large tree nearby.
Me at Sim Place 19 years ago this weekend.

That oxbow and large tree both are within the bounds of "the old sawmill lands," originally a 712-acre tract dating to 1688. William Farr researched and wrote about the mill and its associated property. You can read Bill's text here:
