    Kayaking at the Blue Hole

It probably is a different one. The one I dove had a write up in the old SJ Mag and it got my interest. Can you tell me where the one is that you are speaking of? I would like to take a field trip there.

    Kayaking at the Blue Hole

The light does refract at about 33%, and depth perception can change to 25%. The minute your head goes under water with a dive mask on you are able to see the real thing.

Customers report water in gasoline purchased from N.J. Wawa

I did call the state and they said that they would look into it. They don't usually get back to you so I do not know if they addressed the issue or not.

    Kayaking at the Blue Hole

I dove the Blue Hole in the mid 90's to reach the bottom. Yes, there is a bottom. After about 30 feet you get into decaying leaves, and yes, you can smell this under water. From that point I dropped a sash wt attached to a rope and I could determine another 20 feet of soft, decaying leaves and...

Customers report water in gasoline purchased from N.J. Wawa

I got skunked last year at the super WAWA on Rte 9 in Forked River. I went there to get gas in containers, for my boat. I had 4 five gal and 2 six gallon containers, total of 32 gallons. I don't fill the containers all the way to leave room for additives. When I was finished the meter said that...

County Plans Next Leg of Rail Trail

I ride my bike and walk on the Barnegat Branch Trail a few times a year. I would like to see it extended to Tom's River. It is a good use of old RR beds.

Fisherman catches alligator at Hamilton Game Preserve

The alligator can survive cool temperatures by going to the bottom of the lake or river. These are fresh water reptiles. They can slow their metabolism down, but there isn't much chance of surviving a NJ winter in the wild.

    Firefox vs Google Chrome

I have firefox on two of the computers and IE 8 on the third. I prefer the Firefox. I have never used chrome so i personally can't speak for it. If FF ever gives me trouble I will go to chrome.

    Pemberto RR Museum

The RR station is a wonderful site. I have been there many times and I have lots of pictures of the place. Let's hope that they keep it open.

    Razing of trees

I doubt that it is for blueberries. The blueberry farmers that I know say they aren't making much money because of the imports. Ken Yates has blueberry farms all throughout the Tabernacle area, and he is turning a 25 acre plot into and 18 acre solar farm.

    Jersey Sore

Mark, great article. You told it like it is with just the right amount of words, and yes, the pics were super. I also agree with Boyd, I don't want too many people moving here, so if they don't know about the good NJ, let them continue to think that the state is full of chemical plants and...

Request to close Oyster Creek nuclear plant

How do they know that there is rust in the containment building, and to what extent is it. these ultra liberal groups work around emotions, not facts. They would have the entire pinlands closed down except for them to check that no one goes in there.

I just got home from Ed Campbells home and we had a couple of cold Red Dogs. What else could you ask for on a warm spring day.

    BBQ/Get Together

The difficulty with State owned grounds is that no beer is allowed. That could be a deterrent. Private property would be favored.
