Interesting. I always heard Pittsburgh had good food (not that I'm a foodie, I'm not). Where in Central New York? That's isolated up there. I used to drive a friend to Johnstown NY (center-east) to see a friend. It was always snowing in the winter back then in 1978-1979.
I did not expect any less from you, and I looked foward to your comic relief. Yeah, I understand what you are saying; ill winds. Apparently the DEP put in a burn off torch, but I hear it's not lit anymore.
Thanks Ed, good advice. There is a pond in that neighborhood called Canterbury pond, which had leachate at the bottom. I think it may be this one, but not positive.
I am asking for opinions. I'm interested in a home here below in LiesureTown in Southampton Township, east of 206 and 70 circle. It's at the end of the arrow. The arrow starts on Big Hill Landfill, which is long closed. The company who owned it went bankrupt trying to keep up with the legitimate...
I remember when I was first introduced to Westcoat bogs. I began looking at the aerials to see if PBX could explore that area where all the water is coming from, and it got so tangled in my mind that I gave up, because in looking at the aerials you are never sure where the water would be running...
I've seen that look before Ron. I see that as a digital rendering. Looks good, but not camera quality. Or maybe still done with a camera, but enhanced. Not as good as birdseye in my opinion.
There is a trick to see them. In some places use their maps. Then, right click on the aerial and you will see if birdseye is available for that area. Try the woods behind the big sand mine off Lacey Road. Look at the east beach in Bamber.
Very fortunate for me Boyd, that your Here Now maps show the solar farm at Lakehurst. Odd though, that I can't trust Google Maps. They say this is a 2023 image, but can't be, no solar farm (second photo below). Do you pay money for Here Now service?
:p I just watched it. You are lucky it was not mid-July. You'd of been eaten alive and sweating profusely.
My immediate senior, the state botanist, told me of a time 2 years ago in Sandy Hook when he went into the phragmites a quarter mile on a hot day. Very thick and narrow. When he turned to...
There are law abiders, and there are scofflaws. Many of those who become tempted seeing the pond would think twice seeing those barricades. They work, so I support them.
