A big fire, more than 1/2 cord of wood in the garage 6 out back, generators gased up, lots of extra fuel and fresh diesel, we'll handel it.
The snowthrower sounds interesting. I'm using a small tractor with a FEL and I have mountains. I am running out of places to put snow. Let us know how the thrower handles the wet stuff. Does it run OK on skids in the sand? How about twigs?

You know Karl, I was thinking, the Donner Party had better digs than you guys, they built cabins. There problem was that they ran out of food, well until they started to improvise. :)
It was once the Batona Trail. I remember the bridge back in the 70's. If you look closely you can still see the pink on trees leading down to it. The Batona Trail has been moved several times along it's route. It used to follow the road from Lower Forge to Quaker Bridge, now it's in the woods...
