    Fires are a moving target, depending upon conditions. They will tell you when you get the permit and bans are posted in the camp, if they are in effect. I don't recall a ban at the Batona Camp this morning but there was one last week. You will have lots of company.

    The speed limits are posted on those white signs on the trees. From what I recall, 20 mph unimproved, 35 improved where conditions permit, which is rare. But I have to say to read the regs you may need a ladder and a magnifying glass.

    It's internal structure is starting to show, nails and a metal bar of some sort that looks like holds ths planks together. Most of the wear is where everyone drives it so I straddle, just like avoiding the ruts in puddles.
