    Panther sighting ?

For a few years I worked on a research farm right outside of New Egypt, and more than once people asked us about the "special zebras" we had in the pastures. They were cattle that had a fistula (basically a rubber plug) in their sides. Zebras? Where did they get that from looking at a plain...

We are in the beginning processes of looking around, and have started with getting information from a company called Premier Modular Homes in Tuckerton.

    Sunrise Affordable Homes?

We were thinking of doing the very same thing in the very same area. I think the best advice I have gotten on this matter is to talk to someone who lives in a modular house. I have a couple of friends who do, and some companies are easier to deal with than others. Use the one that has the...

    sandy ridge

Great photos! There's another cellar hole toward the back road that's filled with household garbage. One of these days my husband and I are going to hook up a trailer and drive down and clean that cellar hole out.

To Side, or not to Side

That's why we find piles of them in the pines. People dump them because it's too much of a hassle to get rid of them.

Holy crap! Sorry to hear that. Did you lose all of your utilities? We had 10", but it was all clean and easy to clean up. Not bad, but I am just exhausted from all that today.

    Governor Corzine Crashes the Pines...Literally

It does seem like he was not driving recklessly as was originally reported.

    Governor Corzine Crashes the Pines...Literally

I will look forward to hearing an explanation. A dangerous driver is a dangerous driver. I don't understand what "special needs" has to do with that. The very implication makes me pretty angry, but I will reserve that till I get the facts.

    Governor Corzine Crashes the Pines...Literally

And why would we have a reckless driver, special needs or not, allowed to drive? The guy should have some consequences for what he did. Mannnn. This is gonna be some storm.

If he caused the accident, why is he not being charged? Interesting.

Wow. A compound femur fracture. Doesn't get much worse than that. Poor guy. I cannot imagine what it would be like to look down and see my femur poking out of my skin.

Wow! Twelve fractured ribs? I didn't even think we HAD twelve ribs. Poor guy. Nothing hurts worse than a broken rib, but that AND a broken sternum? Sheesh!

To Side, or not to Side

I'm with Boyd. I had cedar clapboards on my last house and it was a great siding material. If I were to decide to live in my current house for years and years, I would want to side it with cedar. Since we will probably sell it in a few years like you, I will keep the aluminum siding, icky as it...

    Governor Corzine Crashes the Pines...Literally

Okay, seriously, what IS it with NJ governors and their broken legs? Isn't this like the third gov in a row to break his or her leg in an ugly way? Sheesh!
