    Goshen Pond to Atsion Lake

All the way to Chew road. Probably no soft sand now but the Sleeper runs through the road, or does the road run through the Sleeper. It can be very trappy.

    Goshen Pond to Atsion Lake

No I didn't. Maybe the water was too high. That run is going to burst into life in the next 2 weeks.

    Goshen Pond to Atsion Lake

Saturday we decided to paddle around Atsion Lake, and the day being what it was we ended up paddling upstream to the plastic bridge. There were no obstructions to speak of and the idea was born to paddle from Goshen Pond to Atsion the next day. I hadn't done that section in a few years and I...

    More illegal dumping

Dumping has been going on regularly around the Carranza Memoria this winter/spring. Most to the north, junk like computer screens, tv's and cigar, beer and cigarette containers. This is Tabernacle where you could put out this stuff and couches in front of any ones house and it would be picked up...

    Dirt bikes!

It wasn't absent mindedness, they ignored us when we asked. I appreciate your attempt but it's not working, and I can't disquailify them. Honestly, it was a very bad experience, and not the first year we experienced it.

    Dirt bikes!

One of the problems is the sheer volume of them, they overloaded the place. At 9:30 AM there was no park police presence at the start on Carranza Road. I drove Carranza, Tuckerton, Push Line, and Quaker Bridge and saw only one Park Police SUV on Quaker Bridge west of the little bridge between...

    Dirt bikes!

They have everything to do with the plant and animals if you are riding over them, and they did, en mass.

    Dirt bikes!

They deny other citizens the peaceful of the use of the forest and have a selfish self centered attitude. Not to mention the stench of half burned 2 cycle oil and the noise. These people have nothing to do with the pines except it's explotiation for their own interests, don't care about the...

    Dirt bikes!

It was pretty aweful if you wanted to use the pines, they hijacked it. Couldn't use Carranza Road, Tuckerton, Push Line, Quaker Bridge and parts of the Batona Trail. They thought they owned the place and wouldn't give anyone else a break. All consideration and rules of the road were forgotton...

    Dirt bikes!

We were at Unbridge, the remenant of a bridge just downstream from lower forge camp on Sunday morning. We watched 3 in a canoe trying to get over some downed trees and could hear others thaking another way around. We had 2 dogs. Was that you?

    Dirt bikes!

You should have been at Carranza this morning, maybe 500. The problems we had, besides speeding ang ignoring the rules of the road, was inconsiderate people in trucks blocking the roads and not even attempting to move. On my side of the road and completly ignoring us and carrying on a...

    Vandalized Trestle

Actually I was impressed that the park cares about the people that use it. I often see park personel working on trails and signs and the out houses were thoughful, really. Even so they had to put 8x8 in front of the one at Carranza because someone ran into it. I thank them! Ed
