    Looking for a small tractor

tractor I was toying with the idea of getting a small tractor too.... do something with a unwieldy patch (about 1/2 acre) -- same requirement "cheap" (or share). Don't know how, but maybe planting 75'x50' mini corn field or something else. Just wasted space along an easement.

    unfortunate accident

On two occasions, I found what seemed to be remnants of a bird on my lawn. I suspected a hawk killed and ate the birds and left some feathers behind. I see hawks every now and then, but I was never sure if hawks prey on birds -- could have been something else? ed

    Snake Traps?

I was riding my mountain bike this morning thru/near the western part of Wharton and came upon 2 traps (one on either side of a sand road) with about 50 yards of plastic fence seemingly funneling whatever the traps were intended for into/towards the traps. Does anybody know if this could be a...

    Alquatka Branch, a PBX Hike

nice day for a hike Looks like it was a great day, I was always curious if you need to get wet, avoiding west jersey bogs private land to go that far south (or is it east?) and around towards Sharpe's Mt. and back towards Medford? It looks pretty dry from the pics. They must of clear-cut...

    Beer (again)

philly scene I was a coors, mich guy for years (although in strict moderation) until my wife had me in a kitchen store in Vt on a rainy day. The only thing that interested me in the entire place was a beer guidebook. Who knew there was so much to know and thousands of variations of four...

    White Deer

Spotted a white, Yak-like deer on my way into work today at around 7:00am behind Tauton Lake. I must have seen thousands of deer in the last 5 years, but never one like this one. At first I thought it had just rolled in the snow, but as I got closer I could see the fur was heavy & longer...

    Mac OS 10.5 Leopard

I installed it -- running great so far on an old minimum requires Mac. Time machine alone seems worth the upgrade price & I can see how coverflow can actually help productivity (and add some fun) - gotta luv Apple (eps if you have held the stock for any time).
