Looking at the satellite photos, it may be possible to create more lakes in Marlton, Medford, Shamong and other areas with all the old bogs around. Not that it would be economically feasible, potilically possible ....but maybe a good idea environmentally(or maybe not ?) ... but what's involved...

Came upon this guy out in the open, about 50' from the nearest water. Seemed to be digging with rear legs, could it have been a female getting ready to lay eggs? (if so, risky spot) Big, about 12-14" long. Anybody know what kind of turtle and approximate age? thks.
