This week, I took the kiddies out to check out the Rancocas Conservacy's newly opened Cold Spring Nature Preserve, adjacent to Black Run Preserve in Marlton/Evesham, NJ. The one side of the road, where the preserve sign is, is a nice little walk, but nothing to get too excited about. However...

I don't worry about it. I've hiked there a few times, and I had my kid in the water in his bare feet fishing at the end of the summer. I figure if the farm is pulling water out of it, there can't be anything in there more awful than any of the other water in South Jersey.

I was supposed to be helping out at the MS 150 last weekend, got cancelled for the storm. The weather turned out nice up here, but the shore definitely took a beating.

Thought it might be fun to start a Jersey Devil pop-culture thread. Not concerned with the more scholarly works like the McCloy/Miller books or Bill Sprouse's book, more along the lines of that terrible episode of The X-Files from a million years ago. At worst, I'll just talk to myself here :D...
