Along come fees, gates, fences, endless rules and hours of opening and closing. Besides many state lands were aquired under various funds, perhaps even federal, and our hard earned tax dollars and should not be commercialized. Lack of money is BS.....money is there......priorities are elseware.

My opinion is most of the pines is a hazard......including the elimination of the pines without fires! I really do not see why they chose the plains area as a risk above others. Sounds like newspaper hype.

There are several lots reasonably priced that are available. Those I know of are owned by a realtor. Best for all to own a piece privately before other groups buy it up, like njcf is attempting.

I'm free to ride again. Thanks to all concerned I greatly appreciate the assistance from everyone. Once plywood was in place under the wheels and I filled in the quicksand I drove out of the spot backwards. Internet connection and cell phone has been awful the last couple of days out...
