    This ticks me off...

Driving through a road that has been allowed to degrade to that condition is not illegal. I'd rather have the park police focusing their attention on people who drive through and ruin pristine land. While I am not a huge fan of off-road driving like that (I used to be, a long long time ago)...

    Announcing the new NJPB Maps

The NJ Office of GIS changed the URL parameters to request the image tiles for their aerials. I have updated the code to use the new parameter and now the maps load again. Sorry for the downtime.

    "Finding Bigfoot" in a rut

No. It's all about money for the DEP and having insurance in case something happens. I had a hell of a time organizing the tour of Harrisville that I did 8 or so years ago because of the insurance requirement.

    "STOP IT"

I showed it to a friend at work and he said that it looked like one of the bears was injured, which is why she was trying to stop the fight.

    Just saying thanks

I had a house in Brick, and then lived in Silverton for a while up until the storm. Now I'm in Asbury Park.

    Stuck

I've always felt that if the go-around is just as bad as the puddle, then it's just not worth trying to go through.

As far as I am concerned they are open to any and all. Feel free to link directly to the maps on other sites.

    The other Friendship...

I love those Tabernacle historical society markers. It's always fun to try to decipher the history hidden in sentence fragments.

Generally those are for lashing the car down when its on the boat on its way over here. That particular generation of Accord is built in either Ohio or Alabama, so I don't know why it'd have an anchor point back there.

They might have made it if they hugged the edges of the puddle. If the tow truck had come I am sure it would have been ginormously expensive.

    The NEW Beer Thread

I simply don't have the taste for IPAs anymore. I'm not ashamed to admit that I've been doing my best to keep Hoegaarden in business recently. Wheat beers all the way.

    Announcing the new NJPB Maps

I just heard that the maps site may not be working right for those of you with Windows 8 and IE 10. If there's anybody out there that has that setup can you take a look and see if the map loads? Works now! Also, if anybody has an Android phone can you look at the maps site and see if it looks...

    Biking in the Pines

Yes. It's very nice, although coming back to the base of the hook is often a pain due to the wind and the hills.
