That is a great find. I'd like to get out to Hampton Station one of these days. I was out there with a friend a long, long time ago, way before I knew much about maps and whatnot - it'd be interesting to see what might be left.

That's an interesting breakdown. I wonder if the numbers will change month to month.

The only reason people are using it is to see if they can get through those puddles. You can't say that it's a "high traffic" road if 99% of vehicles can't traverse it. I don't know about filling it in - it removes a big puddle, but also lets people get back to more sensitive spots to damage.

My mom lives inland. No flooding there.

Power is back on at my mom's house. You wouldn't believe the devastation in my neighborhood. Every house has a mountain of waterlogged stuff out by the curb.
