    Propane costs?

I hate, absolutely detest my propane company, Amerigas. They now charge a hazardous material carry charge, a truck fuel charge, and their prices are outrageous. Of my $51 bill, I paid $18 for that nonsense. I only use it for cooking and the dryer. They all keep jacking it up slowly until you...

That IS very nice Al. On a little ridge too, right? I'll upload a photo of a place you might like to do someday. I was at this place on the Batsto a few weeks ago....you may have been there.

Menantico Ponds Walk -Saturday, August 27, 2011

Al, I noticed that one of the pits was dug directly in the middle of Menantico Creek. Whoever did they, even if long ago, should be drawn and quartered. At the very least spend time in jail. That is a crime against humanity.

    NJ Seashore Line has upgrades

Just think, a sand mine wants to dig more and scar more, and we taxpayers are subsidizing the rail crossing work in order to fatten Clayton's wallets. That is, if the one guy's comment in Dogg's link is true: "All grade crossings along the stretch will be upgraded, with funding provided by the...

    Swimming in clay/sand mines...

You swam at the pit in Warren Grove? On my travels I've seen people swimming in the last hole on the left on the road to the gate at Sim Place from Warren Grove. Right before the road curves to the right.

    Revisiting the Lawrence Line Stones

You know, a vehicle should not start a fire like that. If it does, then the design was subpar. Of course, that is just my opinion.

Then and Now.....The Accident of the Blue Comet Train

I pretty much clearly remember that sand train wreck was east of woodmansie. I was there when the cars were all tumbled like childs toys. We even were in one. Kinda spooky...silent, dark, and sandy. If I'm wrong I apologize, but I'm pretty sure that is correct.

    Music for the day

Man, that was just excellant. Unbelievable quality video and sound considering the date. It's easy to see why the British rockers were falling all over each other to copy him.

    Redfin Pickerel Do Not Exist!!!

I loved fishing for pickeral when I was young. I was deep into it even into my 20's. I plan to do a lot more of it when I retire. This is me at 23 years old on Massachussets Trail in Presidential Lakes with 7 or 9 of them. They had drained the back lake leaving a canal around the edges and in...

    Redfin Pickerel Do Not Exist!!!

Hi Gibby. Love that name. I lived with Gibby Giberson for several years. I live 3 miles from that lake. Did you ever see it drained? It is very shallow on the west side. That lake and the cedars has a lot of character. October mornings are the best, very photogenic.
