    coyote sighting

Not strange at all. I grew up literally a few blocks away (where the road makes a bend and heads towards the ocean). There are foxes all over the place. In the past couple years we have had a fox that has "made claims" to my block, he's quite the character (not shy at all). Once in a while...

Half of New Jersayans want out!

Agreed. Populations across the northeast and the rust belt are falling. I for one am glad, but unfortuantly that means they're building up on more and more land farther south. The population in general is just too large. Sue and Pinepaddler, where are you two studying? I'm an...

    2003 Honda CRF230F

I need to sell this bike.. college is getting a bit expensive and I just don't have the time to ride it anymore. It's a 2003 Honda CRF230F. It's very clean and has low hours on it. It hasn't been off roaded in two years now and is just taking up space. It's got new bars, grips, battery, spark...

Judge dismisses DWI charge against Wall Police Captain

If you go by this, then by all means both should be fired and jailed, BUT I myself would like to see what was presented in court and come to my own conclusion. I NEVER believe anything the media says... no matter how credible it/they may be.

    Governor Corzine Crashes the Pines...Literally

I'm glad they've straightened this out, but from the way it sounds the Governors's motorcade was really exceeding the speed limit.

    xbox & playstation

Suresue, Not much of a gamer but when and if he lives at college he'll find people to play against. Halo has an online thing going for it. I too grew up playing Sega Genesis, and never got interested in any other system after that for the most part. There were a few playstation games I played...

    The Dinosaur Trilogy

There is an exhibit at my school of a prehistoric crocodile that lived in the Pine Barren area of Southern NJ. It was found in the Marlton/ Deptford area I believe (I'll check tommorow since I have a lecture right where it is).

    Freeze warning tonight

It sure was pretty cool out in Bellplain last night/this morning. Fortuantly those lean-to's that they have out there are heated

    Balloons and perfectly square holes

They're not motorcrosses, but enduro's. Think rallying (have to reach a checkpoint at a certain time, if you are faster or slower, you get points. Least amount of points at the end wins) but with a dirtbike through the woods.

    Great site; introduction

Thanks folk, I know this is probally the wrong forum to ask on, but does anyone explore the marsh lands along the Delaware bay/river in Southern NJ. There are also some pretty old forests out that way. Anyone ever venture into those? I would love to team up with some of the more knowledgeable...

A few thoughts on the weather

http://www.phillymag.com/articles/science_al_gore_is_a_greenhouse_gasbag ^ a very good article. Granted, don't take it to be the be all and end all. You should still research the subject. Everyone, instead of searching just regular google, I suggest you use scholar.google or many of the college...

A few thoughts on the weather

As much as I believe in global warming, we have far more serious environmental issues to worry about than the melting of our ice caps. Unfortuantly it appears that not too many of these issues are going to get the focus they deserve. From some research that I have done, I really feel soil...
