Just noticed there aren't even any warnings or watches for my area now and only a quarter to a half inch of rain is expected tonight. Quite a difference if you go West or North however...

Whelp, the rain/snow line moved a tad further east than the 'expert's were calling for. Running some errands today in and out some pretty good hail and trucks salting the roads, lot of plow trucks sitting around as well. They must know something I don't.

We are taking multiplle 911 calls for motor vehicle accidents all across the county at this time. The Parkway is hard hit. Do not go onto the roads unless absolutely necessary. Use EXTREME caution.

It was raining hard this morning and changed to snow about a half hour ago. BIG flakes coming down heavy now but not sticking on anything but the grass. The NWS has changed the forecast for my area to < 1" from zero. But to looking at how hard this stuff coming down, it does make you wonder... the forecast was calling for 40 degrees but it's down to 34 here now.

HOLY C**P took the dog out and a huge bright flash, seemed like it was eye level, then thunder like artillery hitting. Had to hit someplace really close. Dog got back to the house like greased lightning. Inside for the night

Thunder was shaking my house around 1:00 but has been quiet for awhile now. Forecast was definitely wrong, it still says rain until 4:00 PM and a high of 44. Rain changed to snow at 1:00 PM and temperature is holding at 34 degrees. Snow is lighter now, maybe 1/2" on some surfaces but the driveway is still just wet.

This was updated just 15 minutes ago but doesn't seem to match what I see outside. Huge snowflakes pouring down, pine trees starting to bend over, everything is white now....

Well now I see why it was snowing so hard here - I was right in the heaviest part of this narrow band. It is rotating out of my area now (maybe heading your way ;) ) and the snow has gotten much lighter now, sky is brightening.

The center of the Low is now due east of us roughly 75 miles, which means it all should be ending this evening as the front comes thru. But there is another coming ashore on the west coast.

The thundersnow was an interesting experience with this storm.

The ground level snow- lightning even more so  A person was struck in Manchester and taken to a hospital.

Just cleared off the deck and front steps before it freezes; wet cement snow, be careful.

Pretty intense here. Large trees down in Haddonfield on my way home. But my dash cam failed to turn on.
