I hope it's a fake and there is no map ever created or any road closures for bass river. And plus everything we read on Internet is always true. Bonjour.

If you look at the "new" Wharton map, scroll over by Bodine Field where the Bass River border is, unfortunately you can see a non motorized there cutting from 679 to Shamong Rd, but it shows barriers at either end. It also continues off of Shamong heading NE, and also another a little further on Shamong headed in about the same direction. Hope I'm wrong and this is overflow from the Wharton map

Just received this from the NJOA

Let the troops know that NJOA is out in front of this issue. We are calling to set up a meeting with the commissioner on this Issue. We still need the calls to keep going to Trenton. That was a great letter you sent. Let the folks know that they may want to join the NJOA to help us keep serving their causes. I'll keep you posted.

The road with the barriers on it goes to the Cutts Cranberry bogs, and has been gated for a long time.

It does appear, according to the MAP, that they have closed the old Oswego/Munion field road, and the Calico/Warren Grove Road.

Yep, I figured that was Cutts, and I agree on the other 2, hopefully its just a "suggestion" from Wharton

Mike, can you put that on a map by chance? I have seen those pictures circulating just not a definite on locations some of that land is conservancy, FRMC, and private land.

Wooohooo. That gate on Bryant road is really getting under my skin. I love that area all the way back to howardsville. I have never driven in that pit and nor do I ever care too. Isn't the pit nature conservancy land?

I want to thank Cherokee261 and all of the members of council in Medford Lakes for passing this resolution.

On a personal note ...that is only the second time since high school that I spoke in front of a group that I did not know. I find it very very uncomfortable. It is something I do not like doing and don't plan on doing again any time soon. Hopefully never.
