Another block of 20 tiles is now online, just below the last row, starting around Tuckerton Road and going East to the Bombing Range.

Just uploaded 20 new tiles in the area between Bulltown and Route 563. Here's an updated site coverage map.

Bulltown

Here's a topo of the area around Bull Creek and the Batona Trail

The shaded terrain reveals a feature that doesn't really show on the topo or my old LIDAR maps. Notice the meandering narrow ridge in the northern half of this image - looks like it was squeezed out of a toothpaste tube. If you look at the elevation while you drag the map around, you'll see that it's only about 8 feet higher than the surrounding terrain. Would love to hear what @Spung-Man can tell us about this. :)

And LIDAR in the Pines HD
https://online.boydsmaps.com/#16/39.6476/-74.5736/lidarHD

It is visible on these maps, but not nearly as obvious. The macro-shading of my new LIDAR maps uses the full "rainbow" of colors for each tile, accentuating elevation changes.

Here's two dozen more tiles that cover from Hampton Furnace to Hampton Gate.

The mountains of Hampton Gate

The hill that is seen in the foreground is an interesting feature. Looks like a big pile of dirt, but I assume it's a natural feature(?)

Hampton Furnace
https://lidar.boydsmaps.com/#x092y045/topo/0/1440/0/0/0/0/1333/392/-1333/100/2.5/2d

The dark topo really shows how the parcels don't align with the true position of the roads. There are many examples like this in Wharton, and I assume it's because the parcel map was created from USGS 24k topo maps, which aren't very accurate.

Lots of detail to digest here when you zoom in. :)

The NJPB LIDAR map for comparison. Another example where you'd be hard-pressed to realize it's the same location.
