    East Stokes Road Beach

I was curious so we took a small ride today. It looks like that was the only beach that was blocked so far. At one of the others there was tire tracks going all the way down to the water. They should all be blocked off. But with enough room for some parking.

I was down there not to long ago and those weren’t there. Do you know if they did the rest of the beaches down the Batsto?

Illegal off-road vehicles continue to tear up N.J. forests. Advocates push for crackdown.

Soo…to clarify. That pool was decimated for decades until it was blocked off. Someone then drove around the barricades in the summer of 2022. Now in November the barricades are still working and the pool looks like it did in 2021.

FYI. The first picture is from 11/2015 and the second is from this past weekend of the same spot. This location was closed and hasn’t seen much illegal traffic since. It’s bouncing back nicely.

Deep Washouts on Lower Forge - Recovery

Sorry, I think you misunderstood me. Those holes are on Buldozed Road. The state just recently repaired the hole on Tuckerton in between Buldozed road and Mines Spung Road. The decision to not fix that short section when the equipment was that close leads me to believe they may not have...

Deep Washouts on Lower Forge - Recovery

The fact that the puddle on Tuckerton heading towards High Crossing was recently repaired and those weren’t leads me to believe that they don’t want to keep that road open.

I’m not sure why but That knob of land was clear cut back in the early 90’s.

Maybe it’s coincidence but whenever I saw the bogs off of Jackson Road drain in the spring that whole area is under water for a few weeks after. I actually did the same as you and started looking. It doesn’t seem the bogs drain into that area.

Bob, that area has burnt at least three or four times since the early 80’s. The water there rises and falls with the cranberry harvests upstream. After they empty the bogs that area is flooded for a couple of weeks.
