this guy pulls out of bar spins tires and swerves. cop pulls him over, finds he is totally sober. cop asks "why are u driving so bad" the guy says "I'm the designated decoy"
i hike a lot with map and compass. they are fun to use to get from road to road or just a shortcut. going from Batsto to Hawkins Bridge i used about 2 miles of them.
i was surprised to see gravel in them ?
where could i read about Hampton Furnace. am hiking with a few friends Saturday from Lower Forge to Batona Camp with a little detour to HF. i would like to read up on it, but am only finding short blurbs.

what are the small dams called. i know they are not dams, but i can't remember the right word?
and Gibby, i think the beaver would eat the koi. the cranes are already a problem :)
at a job the rain this year washed out the over flow of the pond. he wants to bring it up 8" to where it was. there are 100's of koi in it and hes worried the lower level may kill them when it freezes.
Any ideas since many of you know a lot about cranberry bogs. (i do not need a gate)...
