All, I highly highly doubt the state put the boards there, dirt bikers put those up. The state is not going to put up boards for hikers on land they do not own. Unless I'm dead wrong they don't own the tracks(I wish they did that way they couldn't open the tracks back up). I wouldn't think...

Correct, to my knowledge it is PP and all would be trespassing. I do it all the time on those tracks, but I'm not going to sue if I get hurt or injured.....its my fault.

Well for ATV's its not a marked road either so they shouldn't be there. Gotta love America if you trespass and break the law you can still sue......accountability anyone???

The downed trees at Caranza were done for several reasons. They were not done by state workers as the state does not own the tracks. The right-a-way is owned by the railroad company. The trees were chopped down to keep ATV's off of them.
