    Tide Tables

Can anyone point me to a tide table that includes Jake's Landing? I have come up empty in my search for one. I appreciate the help.

    Fort Mott

The bunker was supposed to be disposable. I do not fault the state for not putting any money into it. They are going to have to clean it up someday when it actually collapses. Having said that, my friends and I used to climb all over that in the early to mid 1970s. It was a fun place for...

    Don't Buy a Dell

Last summer, Jeff Jarvis's Dell Hell posts on his blog were the best reading in the blogosphere. They were so influencial that Dell now blogs. I would take your complaint there.

Anyone up for a Batona Thru Hike the week of August 18th?

One day or camping overnight? 50 miles . . . 3-4 miles/hour makes it 12.5-17 hours of hiking without breaks. I would love to do this, but do not know if I can. I would like to hear more about what the plan is.

    GPS for the pine barrens

This unit is an entry level GPS. It does not have detailed maps nor does it have connectivity for waypoint management with a computer. It's a popular unit because of its price. FWIW, Amazon has this unit for much less. If you are looking for an inexpensive mapping unit with the ability...

    Letter to Jon Corzine

I am pretty certain Moorestown was voted some such place, but cannot find out what. I did come across a CNNMoney.com list that rates five New Jersey communities in its top 100 places to live.

Trip to various spots in cape may and cumberland counties

Well low tide this morning meant trudging through lots of mud b4 water could be had. I passed. I am just looking for an old map that would show the roads that used to exist.

Trip to various spots in cape may and cumberland counties

If you look at this area in GE one can easily see where the crossroads once were. Can anyone point me to a map of what the streets were named?

    State Shutdown

New Jersey may, but the federal government says otherwise.

    State Shutdown

I believe this is only the case for businesses that have brick & mortar in the state. source

    State Shutdown

It appears a "compromise" (to tax the hell out of all of us) has been made. The vote should occur on Friday.

    State Shutdown

Does anyone know what is "supposed" to happen when the rangers are told not to come to work? Is the public permitted in state parks/forests if the rangers are off duty? Just curious and have not seen it discussed.

    Body World

No photography is permissable in the exhibit. I went to the exhibit a few months ago. It is definitely interesting and something different.

    Anyone been to Cowtown Rodeo?

My wife and I attended the rodeo a few years ago. It was one of those things I had wanted to do since I was a boy, but never had. We drive by this place all the time. So there we were on a Saturday evening. It was beautiful out. Then it started. It never occurred to us how the bulls...

Does anyone know about the (abandoned?) train back there? Seems odd to just park them there.

    Mt. Holly: NEXRAD Site

Yes, I am talking about NOAA. Bit I have no idea if the office is where the NEXRAD antenna is. The antenna should be BIG. I would like to view this, but do not know if it is at the offices or somewhere else (like out in the middle of nowhere).
