    Action Camera

I am considering replacing my Olympus TG4. The GoPro Hero 7 Black seems good. The 4K 60P is attractive. Can this camera double as a dash cam? My needs are a small camera, pocket and always with me. I have had trouble with movable zoom lenses before, between dirt in my pockets and dust on the...

I set off the siren at Apple Pie Hill.

We walked the dogs there yesterday. We were walking the fence around the base and when I got to the padlocked gate on the south side, off it went. I never touched the fence nor was that near it. It stopped after 2 minutes and we continued our walk around the base of the hill, nice and dry! What...

New Tea Time Hill / Mt Korbar Sign

When I started hiking this hill in the early 70" there was a ground sign that said "Tea Time Hill". A hike leader told me it was named that because it was a rest stop. Later I learned on this site that it is also called Mt Korbar, a contraction of the last names of the 2 men who laid out the...

    Wharton snow damage

That last snow storm really took down a lot of trees. Tuckerton to High Crossing was impassable for a day, now it's dodge the trees. I don't dare go down the smaller roads. Nothing like being a mile in and having to back out. The canoe liveries are gonna have fun. Carranza road west of Friendship.

    A stockpile of fill dirt

There are 2 loads of bank run sand in the Carranza Memorial parking lot and 3 at Carranza Rd and the Skit. There doesn't appear to be any work done yet but I can think of plenty of places to put it to use.
