Yes, I believe that is the one that Broke Jeep Joe is referring to. In fact I am certain of it. It would be worth looking around for the saw mill, I agree.
The river and bridge looks larger in this photo than does present day. Probably just the angle. Also, it looks like alot more decidious trees in the background. Swamp maple I would presume. I seem to recall mostly pine around it now.
Oh I know this bridge. It crosses the nescochague east of Bloody bridge. I suspect you have been there also Guy. Remember where we parked for the Great Swamp hike? It is directly oppisite there across rockwood road toward and over the nescochague. It does look very old. I suspect it was...
Yeah, I was glad to come across it. I seem to recall in one of the videos (the one that shows the sign on route 542) that he mentions, or the caption info mentions, a date in the early '80's.

I don't know who this youtube poster is but I suspect we probably know him. He has alot of footage of the Herman city hotel before and during the fire. IF you click on his name you can see he has alot of interesting videos.

That bog/bridge presents some fun fishing when the water levels are sufficient. Usually alot of small egar pickerel on the north side. Larger, less egar on the south side.

I went into the Lakeview in once before they closed it down. Not much happening in there went I went in. I have very little recollection of the experience. A few people playing pool. Not much of an impression I guess.

Nice report Jim. I have actually have never been to the Boyd's hotel sight. Kind of surprising because I prettty much have that area wired. I'll have to check it out. Nice photos of cedar creek especially.

Exactly the same thought came into my head the moment I saw it:mrgreen:
I agree with Scott, you have to question the authenticity with all those teeth.
We should do one...something that reflects our specific interests. Bob could be out there with a strategically placed water lily. Guy...
No need to go looking for them Bob. I already know where they are. Actually they are prettty hard to miss out that way aren't they. Scott had mentioned the trash out at Bispham's mill, but I knew it would be too far out of the way. I bet the woodshed would host that for next year. If not...
If your heading to wading pines from the north you will be going down 563. There are plenty of active bogs along the roadside. If you are headed from the south, you may have to continue past wading pines till you merge with 563, then look for bogs along the road side. I was on this road...
I'm happy to report that there is not much trash I have come across around my area. There is some trash on some of the state owned areas of Moore's meadow road however. Primarly toward the carranza side. And one spot further up about 1/2 way to 532. But it might be hard to get in there now...
