I’ve been on many a hike with OCSJ and have never seen people drop litter and such, especially that quantity of stuff. Most of the people are regulars that care about the pines and wouldn’t let newbies trash-up the place.

A few Sunday’s ago there was someone shooting in back of Batona Camp Site. It sounded like they were target practicing, too many shots for a deer. So now I wear an orange hat on Sunday’s just in case. Sorry about being off-topic.

I think the hunters had a malfunctioning safety mechanism like keeping their finger off of the trigger. I know you can’t teach common sense but don’t they have hunter safety courses in PA. ?

They just installed a septic field in the back yard. It looks like someone buried an elephant. I knew the area was swampy but the high water table must be at ground level. You could go sledding on that hill :mrgreen: ! Roy

On the subject of Google. I found this on the net the other day. In Google Earth you can open GPX and LOC files and view your waypoints, routes and tracks. Nothing fancy but it's another way to view your data and it's nice to have color aerials. Roy
