Absolutely outstanding boys!

I wish I could go with you sometimes. Where were you in the first set of photos? I'd like to see that meadow where all the flower heads are.

If you're talking about the recent batch, Bob -- I was along Schoolhouse Lane leading into Sea Breeze.

I see Photobucket zapped my mermaid photo. Drat. Oh, well. I see it was upsetting Alfie, too. Guess I'll let it go.

Whip

EDIT: Okay, I know which photo you're talking about now, Bob.

This was taken quite nearby Sea Breeze, at Dix WMA. Plenty of fields and meadows there, oft chock-full of wildflowers!

A beautiful collection, Whip. I've finally decided that my favorite is the b/w house, no doubt with stories lurking behind those ragged boards. And then there's about fifteen of the others, especially the reflective reflections . . . You've got such an eye for the telling details.

I have to go back.

Maybe Alfreda can re-enact the mermaid pose the next time you go out there. One thing I am wondering about is when you fix up your Quonset hut, how do you figure out when to stop roofing and start siding?

The wind was whistling ...

Only about twenty minutes to spend at the southern tip of the state (soccer tourney) -- wolfed down a Wawa shortie at the point, plus some KandyKakes, chug-a-lugged some iced tea, which left about five minutes to take a few whipsnaps. It'd been a while since we'd been down that way.

That looks like one delighted kid, Whip! He's such a contrast to the sober gull and the somber, crashing waves and the wreck . . . I like the sepia treatment too; it sets just the right tone. That surf-on-rocks is stunning. Thanks!

Sea Breeze

Beach Avenue has been abandoned by the residents of Sea Breeze. It looks like at least one resident is hanging in there at the bay on the road feeding into the community, on Schoolhouse Lane. It's rather eerie walking along the bay. And sad. I've been riding there from time to time and measuring the deterioration, and to enjoy beautiful sunsets. Here's a batch of photos taken today:

As always Bill your photo's are great. I enjoy looking at them whenever you post. I am sorry I did not respond earlier but it was 4AM when I looked at them and was rushed for time. I forgot about them until you posted again.
